Tsedang & Lhasa Sightseeing Tour The capital of Tibet, Lhasa situated at an altitude of 3650m, is situated on the north of bank of Kyichu River, a tributary of the Yarlung Tsangpo river. Lhasa in Tibetan means " Place of the Gods" and Potala Palace, the Residence of Dalai Lama ( The God King), is the earthly representation of the celestial Palace of Avaloketeswora, The Buddha of infinite compassion whose incarnation in the human form is believed to be the Dalai Lama. It is a city truly blessed by the gods where life is unburied.

Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Gonggor airport and transfer to the Hotel (120KM.) Afternoon acclimatization.

Day 2: Morning visit Yongbulakhong palace and Changdu monastery. Afternoon visit Tibet kings Tombs

Day 3: Drive from Tsetang to Gyantse, picnic lunch at Yamdrok lake and Overnight at Gyantse (340 KM)

Day 4: Morning- visit Khumbum and Pelkor chode Monastery at Gyantse. Afternoon- drive to Shigatse(100 KM) and visit Tashilhunpo monastery

Day 5: Drive from Shigatse to Lhasa (270 KM)

Day 6: Morning- visit Potala Palace. Afternoon- visit Sera Monastery

Day 7: Morning visit Jokhang temple and Barkhor Street. Afternoon visit Drepung monastery

Day 8: Transfer to the airport and fly out
